Daniel C. Doherty, J.D., LL.M., principal of Doherty Law Office, has been practicing law for almost 30 years and is one of the top Estate Planning Attorneys and Wealth Managers in Denver. He understands the legal nuances and details of starting a business, and has a keen understanding of the sensitivities and needs of families engaged in life planning. He has developed expertise in legal aspects of business formation and organization, business and commercial law, contracts, asset protection and business succession planning.

Concentration in estate, gift and income tax law and the law of wills, trusts and estates.
Provide complex estate, gift and income tax planning for an expanding personal client base; create wills, trusts, documents of incorporation, partnership agreements and limited liability company operating agreements; counsel clients in estate administration and guardianship matters. Represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service's Examination, Appellate and Collection Divisions, and District Counsel's Office. Represent clients before City/County District Courts regarding estate administration matters, and before the United States Tax Court, Federal District Court , and Courts of Appeal regarding federal tax matters.

In addition, we also have represented clients throughout the United States, from Maine to Hawaii, from Alaska to Florida.
